Because I had a wonderful day yesterday(: Addy, Yiling and my mentor came over yesterday for dinner and we cooked chinese food for dinner. It was our first chinese meal and it was niceee. We had rice, vegetables with mushrooms, chicken with ginger, sesame oil and dark sauce, and meat patty. [I cooked the rice and fried the veggies:) But I think I washed the rice a tad too many times so it didn't have a strong jasmine smell ^_^]

Addy, Yiling, Ruo and my mentor baked a chocolate cake too:D It was really nice:) We ended late yesterday night (or should I say this morning) with much talking, laughing, some erdinger and card playing. Sigh (: so shu1 fu2 :p Luckily our lesson today was in the afternoon.

My mentor gave me a box of rock sweets- those that are hard and crystal-like. And Ruo, Addy and Yiling gave me... A pair of earrings, matching bracelets and necklace, and a clutch bag:)

Having a place to ourselves is really great. Though there may be less interaction between other students, it's a place where we can be free to do what we want and have gatherings!

Earlier on yesterday we went on a 3-hour bus tour around Copenhagen to visit some attractions. Among them were the Amalienborg Palace (hope I spelt it right!) where the royal family stays, the parliament and the little mermaid. It was really cold and windy! Haha. But don't worry, Ruo and I are taking great care of ourselves:)

I guess you've all had your reunion dinner already! Happy Chinese New Year! I'm going to have mine later at our place with the Hong Kong people and some other Singaporeans who have been here since the last semester. Bak Kut Teh :)

I think I'll be uploading my photos onto facebook instead of in here. It's much easier to do that there.. So yups.. that's all for today for now!

Oh ya. Lesson today was not too bad! Really(: The lecturer was clear and it was well, good. haha. Different from lectures at home.

Okok. Ruo Wei is HUNGRY. Actually so am I. So we will go find food now. Bye!
